The leadership team at JCPC consists of ordained Ruling Elders who are servant leaders who guide our community in faith, answer questions, and organize opportunities for mission.

Rev. Jennifer Hope Kottler

Pastor

Jen has been pastor since August 2020. A native of Pittsburgh, she has lived all over the US, settling in Florence in 2018. She lives with her husband, Gavin and her dog, Beau, who serves as the greeter and security officer when he is at the church.

Margaret Rogers

Worship Accompanist

Margaret has been with us for nearly 20 years, playing both piano and organ. An accomplished musician and teacher, her students regularly give recitals at the church.

Margaret and her husband Ron have been members since the 1970s.

Susan Nexsen

Coordinator of Children’s Ministry

and Administrative Assistant

A Pennsylvania native, Susan moved to Kingstree after college and has been in this area ever since. An experienced educator and passionate about children’s ministry, Susan creates meaningful educational and fellowship experiences for all ages.
